I finally got the guts to "can" some peaches.
As you can see I had a very ambitious helper! I purchased peaches from my favorite farmer. I consulted a book my mom had given me and a few good websites, called my mother in law and borrowed her equipment, and started!
The result, 8 quart bottles. Ok, so this is not much, but I was nervous!
Result- It tasted GREAT!
I feel like I made my mom & Grandma proud! They used to bottle many things in their day! I am so a PIONEER!

Hey Lena! Finally caught up on your blog! Do you have any more canned salsa! They are FABULOUS with taquitos. And great job on the canning! Look at you, you super Mormon Mama!
