This year, in order to go part time, I had to switch grade levels. I am now teaching a 1st and 2nd grade blend. It is easier in some ways, not so much in others.
In first grade you must remember to teach/ remind kids about how to use things such as glue sticks, scissors, and a stapler.
Me-"What do we cut with scissors?"
Class-"Only paper!"
*The next class with a new teacher that same day had a kid cut most of his hair off when she was not looking...
