The picture is of Bubba after preschool one day. He made a bird feeder at school and wanted me to put it in a tree. Then he just stood there for almost 5 minutes (aka 3 year old eternity) waiting and saying, "Birdy...birdy..."
This picture reminds me that I need to have patience with life and the people therein. My kids can't get things as fast as I'd like them to sometimes, and I need to be more patient. My mom used to tell me that "Watching a man grow up is like watching a tree grow." I must remember that...
